Finished exclusively in pearlescent metallic black, the SVX sported an external silver roll cage, a silver fascia for the grille and headlight clusters, and 16-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels. And, just in case you didn't clock the SVX as being different, satin-finish '60 Years' graphics on the doors and bonnet gave you a subtle reminder.

This example is number 254 of just 300 short-wheelbase models ever built, with just 90 examples designated for the UK market. Even rarer still, it's one of very few to have been given the full treatment by Twisted, who are widely regarded as offering the premier package of tweaking, re-mapping, enhancing and upgrading. The bodywork is in very good condition and retains a deep shine with very few blemishes, as too the interior which looks superb. The exo-skeleton roll cage is bolted firmly and neatly to the body and the Defender is finished with 18-inch black alloy wheels which are in excellent condition and shod with matching Toyo Proxes S/T tyres. The soft top is also in very good condition and the trim, badging, lights, lenses and other exterior fixtures and fittings are all in fine fettle. Showing a mere 22,070 on the odometer, this stunning example is offered with a sizable history file containing its original books, previous Mot records, and the current UK registration document.
