This Jaguar is an original right-hand-drive UK-supplied XK150 Fixed Head Coupe. In the late 1990s it was rebuilt as a XK150S 3.8 litre FIA specification racing car by XK Motorsport, and was a successful entrant at Goodwood in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
More recently, this car has been maintained by CKL and has been a class-leading competitor in the XK Challenge and the Jaguar Classic Challenge with many class wins and fastest laps. Highlights include a class win in the Jaguar Classic Challenge at Spa-Francorchamps in 2017, 3rd overall and first in class in the Jack Fairman Cup Race at Donington Park in 2018, and a class win in the HSCC Cup race at Oulton Park in the same year. This car also competed in the 2018 Jaguar Race at Le Mans Classic.
The car is powered by a 3.8-litre race engine built by Sigma engineering, and has benefitted from substantial works and maintenance by CKL. It has a current FIA Historic Technical Passport valid until 2027.
A potential winner in the right hands and also road registered, this car is eligible for prestigious events such as Goodwood, the Tour Auto, Modena Cento Ore, Peter Auto Fifties Legends, Motor Racing Legends, HSCC and HRDC.
