The MG B: a popular sports car as it should be: lightweight, agile and a pleasure to drive. This GT (coupé) is a fine example beautifully finished in Old English White with dark blue interior and sporty Minilite wheels. It was produced in 1972 and was imported to the Netherlands in 1991, where it subsequently had only two owners. The bodywork is rust-free and the engine compartment is clean and dry. The interior is also still very nice and breathes an English atmosphere with the classic dashboard, beautiful counters and beautiful Motolita steering wheel. The interior has heating and the added overdrive provides a pleasant ''5th gear''. The rear seat offers space for two extra people and this space and the boot is also very neat. Optically, the car has slight signs of use. The stainless steel exhaust provides a nice sound from the 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine that runs very well and has electronic ignition. General information about the MG B
The MG B succeeded the MG A in 1963, a car that was already quite popular for MG - part of The British Motor Company (BMC) - with over 100,000 units. The MG B would be produced until 1980 and even more of these were eventually produced: over half a million units. Besides the roadster, other variants were also produced such as the MG B GT three-door 2+2 coupe (1965-1980), the six-cylinder MG C (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder MG B GT V8. With its 1.8-litre engine and 95 hp, the MG B was a lot more powerful than the 1.6-litre MG A. Der MG B: ein beliebter Sportwagen, wie er sein sollte: leicht, wendig und ein Vergnügen zu fahren. Dieser GT (Coupé) ist ein wunderschönes Exemplar in Old English White mit dunkelblauer Innenausstattung und sportlichen Minilite-Rädern.
