INTERIOR
Continuing the exclusive feel of the D3 the interior demonstrates a level of fit and finish superior to anything even the M-division can produce, with subtle Alpina branding upon the sills, seats, laser etched piano black trim and the gorgeous Lavalina leather steering wheel. Stunning Dakota Oyster hide adorns the doors, lower dashboard and seats to create a light, luxurious feel to the space emphasised further by the electric glass sunroof. Further luxuries come in the form of heated memory front seats, Harman Kardon sound and BMW Professional media package with I-drive 5 software (which can be upgraded with Apple car play at further cost).

Staying true to its origins this example features the traditional blue instrument cluster and Alpina build plaque which sits proudly on the centre console.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Providing quite possibly the ultimate blend of performance and economy the D3 Biturbo features a revised BMW 3L straight-6, with twin turbochargers producing 345bhp and a staggering 516 ft lb of torque. Pushed through a rapid 8-speed automatic gearbox, with manual Switchtronic software, 0-60mph takes just 4.6 seconds whilst top speed is an unrestricted 170mph. Whats more remarkable still is the level of fuel economy returned at more every day speeds, with in excess of 50mpg achievable the Euro 6 compliant engine in this LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) model is so efficient it avoids any surcharges under the updated ULEZ scheme.

Servicing has been carried out exclusively by BMW main dealers, the most recent of which was in August of 2023 at 18,665 miles.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Classic Ronal option is the purists choice; an evolution of a timeless wheel design that presents as arguably one of the finest ever OEM wheels produced. These 19″ examples provide the ultimate balance of comfort and style; presenting unmarked they are wrapped in premium Michelin Pilot Sports with plenty of tread remaining.

Further evidence of the Buchloe engineers driving focus can be found in the D3s suspension with bespoke Alpina springs, anti-roll bars, and bushes alongside softer compression and stiffer rebound worked into the standard m-sport adaptive damping system. Brakes are also upgraded from the standard 3 series with 370mm front discs and 4 piston callipers and 345mm discs at the rear.
