Beschreibung

In reference to the overall win of the FIA constructor’s championship in 2005 with the legendary Maserati MC12, the factory issued, in May 2006, a limited special model, The “Gransport MC Victory”, restricted to 180 examples only. This special model provided an even more exhaustive list of equipment compared to the standard model and also provided a number of modifications improving the driving dynamics. Externally the Gransport received a blue structured, aerodynamically formed front and rear spoiler made from carbon. Just like on the Maserati MC12, the MC Victory subtly showed the Italian flag on its front mudguards in reference to its glorious origins. The interior shows carbon elements with a blue structure as well as a plaque with the production number. If requested the door sills could be engraved with the first owner’s name. Our example, number 005/180 was ordered at Modena Motors in the Latvian Riga on the 8th September 2006 and handed over to the happy 1st owner on the 12th January 2007. Painted in “Rosso Mondiale” (just 3 cars left the factory in this colour) with a black leather Alcantara interior with red coloured accents to the dashboard and the door panels, the noble sports car was assembled specifically for its 1st owner, a young lady. In connection with her move to Switzerland, she took the car with her and in January 2011 within 4’027 kilometres on the clock, the Maserati received its first major service through Racing Car SA in Grancia, Ticino. In January 2012, the Maserati was first registered in the Ticino as well. In the following years the coupé was used for occasional outings and regularly maintained. In June 2021, the MC Victory with then 29’000 kilometres driven, was taken over by the vendor and added to his collection. The Maserati has never been registered in his name and since then has only been driven around 800 kilometres. This very rare Gransport is in very good and well-maintained original condition and would certainly provide a welcome addition to any Maserati collection. The last MOT was completed in July 2019.
