Our example rolled off the production line in 1974 and was delivered new to its first owner on April 25, 1974.

Finished in White with Black leather interior, this LHD (left-hand drive) model - originally intended to be fitted with an automatic gearbox - was converted to a mechanical gearbox by Aston Martin at the request of its first owner.

The latter took possession of it at the Newport Pagnell factory, as indicated by its first registration document. The lucky purchaser, based in Switzerland, made the trip on board. From then on, this model didn't leave its owner's possession until... 2016 !

Offered for auction by Bonhams in Paris that same year, this V8 changed hands for the first time before being acquired by its current owner in 2017. The latter sent the car to Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell for a complete check-up. Nearly £15,000 worth of work was carried out.

This rare LHD and mechanical gearbox, with a total of 69,000 km, is now in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition. Its traceability is complete and well known, although Aston Martin's situation at the time makes it difficult to access the archives. An impressive file of maintenance invoices now accompanies this sublime example, in original condition and having known only two owners, the first for over 40 years!
