A 999 cc twin-cylinder engine with electronic injection. 135 HP, 194 kg: a few more horsepower than the SP1 and a few kilograms less. The exhilarating responsiveness of the engine, favored by a new injection system, is combined with different handling compared to the SP1: more maneuverable and agile (to counteract this typical strength of the Aprilia and Ducati competitors), less stable at very high speeds.
