Slightly low level, slightly torn label, cork stopper Private collector Whisky Club: After its 19th Century golden age, Irish whiskey hit difficult times at the end of the 1960s. Its hundreds of distilleries were reduced to just three firms: Cork Distilleries Company, John Jameson & Son and John Power & Son. The three thus decided to join up into a single distillery, Middleton Distillery. This rare bottling comes from the old Jameson distillery in the centre of Dublin which closed definitively in 1976.
