Throughout the two decades of production, the Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter has been altered into a variety of renditions and assumed a taken on all sorts of personalities. The second generation VW Type 2 lost it's distinctive split windshield, beefed up in size and weight thus and affectionately nicknamed "Breadloaf" or "Bay-window." This 1971 version of the Type 2 features a unique two-toned Burgungy and Silver finish and custom, removeable canopy atop the open, wood-accented truck bed.
