Buggy-Center Bieber KG was initially based at Veilchenstraße 27 in Wuppertal. In about 1970 they started producing cars. The brand name of the vehicles was Bieber. From 1990 the company was called Bieber Cabriolet GmbH and was at Bahnhofstraße 20 in Borken.

The business activity was now the conversion of closed vehicles into convertibles. From mid-1991 the company was at Landwehr 62 in Borken. Saloons were converted into estate cars in 1995.
The last mention in car catalogues was in model year 1999.
Models converted into convertibles included the VW Beetle, Golf, Scirocco and Polo, Opel Kadett D and Calibra, Ford Fiesta and Porsche 924 and 944. The new price was between 4,000 and 4,500 German marks.

The car drives, brakes and steers, but can do with some finishing touches.
