The TR 3, offered since 1955, was reworked for the first time in 1957 and mainly received cosmetic changes. The TR 3A received a new wider grille, external door handles as well as a lockable glove compartment. The engine, the faithful 2 litre inline-4 with 100 horsepower remained. This example is one of the rare TR 3A which was delivered as a kit, completely disassembled, and finally assembled in Belgium. The green roadster with its red leather interior was owned by an enthusiast from 1995 until 2023 and was completely restored some years ago. A photographic documentation is available. For participation in historic rallies, the Triumph was equipped with a trip master as well as four-point safety belts. In April 2023, the roadster was taken over by the vendor and has since been used for very pleasant summer outings. Because of changes in the family, he now has decided, with a heavy heart, to part with his beloved Triumph. The sporty little Brit is in a very good condition and will be handed over to new owner with the most recent veteran MOT from September 2021.
