Beschreibung

Starting price ¥10,000.00 JPY.

This particular example of the Corona is a 1968 single cab model. The exterior is in relatively good condition, although some of the chrome parts have deteriorated due to age. The "1600" badge on the rear of the car is confirmation of its rarity.
The seats and door panels have minor imperfections and stains, but there are no major tears. The instrument panel remains in its original condition, and it features a Nippon Denso air conditioner located in the glove box on the passenger side.
Although maintenance is required to start the engine, this car is well worth restoring from a collector's point of view.

The "Golden Series" was introduced in April 1968 as a new addition to the 3rd generation Corona lineup. The displacement was increased to 1,600cc, and the Corona's first "7R-type" SOHC engine produced 100 hp, an increase of approximately 30 hp over the previous model.
Sales of this golden series ended in September 1968 with the launch of the Corona Mark II, lasting only five months. As the name "Golden" suggests, this model is rare and special version of the Corona.
