Todd Snyder, an American fashion designer, approached The FJ Company in late 2016 after being impressed with their vehicles and their design philosophy, and wanted to partner together. This particular FJ43 Todd Snyder edition by The FJ Company is the prototype, promotional vehicle, and personal FJ43 of Todd Snyder. This partnership created a special line of The FJ Company G43 vehicles, aptly named the Todd Snyder Editions. These unique vehicles sport exclusive trim specific to these vehicles which include unique exterior colors, special leather interiors by Redwing, and a few other touches throughout that carry a significant streak of Todd Snyder's fantastic design sense.

The entire body and chassis of an original FJ43 is sourced and completely disassembled down to its last nut and bolt. A proprietary blend of engineering and craftsmanship has them modify chassis to accept their new and upgraded componentry. Todd Snyder's personal vehicle features a number of unique features and touches that are not present on current vehicles. A fully rebuilt 1FZ-FE inline-six engine producing a stout 240 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque was employed, and the very last new-old-stock Toyota automatic transmission ensures an effortless and smooth driving experience. This custom Land Cruiser uses The FJ Company's upgraded power steering rack, its restored original brake system and suspension, a stainless-steel exhaust system, LED lighting, air conditioning, and other updates that make driving it an absolute pleasure.

Experienced metal craftsmen replaced a majority of the original body with new sheet metal, while the other original parts are thoroughly worked to present a fantastic level of refinement throughout. The FJ Company even goes as far as having created new metal die presses in order to reproduce accurate and high-quality panels. Each vehicle is constructed in house, painted and assembled under one roof and fully documented from the beginning to end, allowing you to follow the build process of your special vehicle.

The interior is modern retro, and long gone is the notion that being a classic you have to not be in comfort. Modern amenities such as A/C and heating systems are added, a custom sound system, a custom Redwing leather interior that is bespoke to Todd Snyder edition vehicles, a digital instrument cluster, and other items that allow drivers and passengers to relax and feel like they are driving a unique piece of machinery that can take them comfortably anywhere in style.

This Todd Snyder edition features the longer wheelbase of an FJ43, making for a smoother and more enjoyable driving experience.
