Where else would you find a completely original reliable Toyota Celica from 1980 with almost all its first paint? The Celica was delivered to the first owner by Toyota dealer Pluijm in Pijnacker on 4-01-1980, they drove it until 2003.

After that, the car was stored in a heated garage for 18 years. The Celica was rediscovered this year and has been restarted. After 18 years, the Celica started again quickly. Old Toyotas were known for their excellent reliability and this one proved that immediately!

It’s been fully updated technically. A new radiator was fitted, the brakes were fully repaired, new oil and various other fluids were replaced, a completely new exhaust and other tyres were fitted.

The interior is still very neat, the Celica had its inspection on 20 July 2021. The appraiser was very positive about the condition of this classic, it was approved for 2 years until 20 July 2023.

The 18R engine is extremely reliable and doesn’t leak, this also applies to the 5-speed gearbox and the cardan. The chassis and suspension are all original and still excellent. The sheet metal is nice and sleek.

The bottom of the driver’s door has a bad spot but the paint is generally still very neat. There are of course some imperfections to be found after 41 years.

The interior is neat and completely original and everything works as it should, the boot is like new and has its jack and unused spare wheel. The chrome is like new and undamaged which also applies for the optional aluminium rims.

The original instructions are included, it has an optional rear window blind made of black plastic, a document containing a comparison test between all Celica models and of course a Dutch registration.
