(a): THIS MINI HAS HAD A LOT OF MONEY SPENT ON IT (CIRCA £12,000) AND PRESENTS IN LOVELY CONDITION

The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960s and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowing 80% of the car's floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the 1980s and was offered in a number of limited editions that usually included a special combination of trim and badging.

Originally registered on 23rd November 1990, this Mini Cooper has benefitted from a bare metal respray and presents in very good order throughout. With only two former keepers this Mini has been well cared for throughout its 35 years on the road. The history folder shows invoices for over £12,000. This is a good specification Mini with a sunroof, leather seats, leather steering wheel and Minilite alloy wheels. Finished in black with a white roof and black interior, this Mini Cooper, with its 1275cc engine, is supplied with a V5 registration document together with a full years MoT test certificate. These iconic, yet stylish vehicles are great fun to drive and always attract admiring glances. Consigned by Stewart Banks.
