This elegant Rolls Royce Corniche Cabriolet was bought new on the 30th of September 1973 in France and delivered to its first owner on the 1st of October through Franco-Britannic Autos Ltd. in Levallois. He apparently transferred the car to Switzerland soon after and the first service was completed in April 1974 already in Lugano. From 1977 the history of the car becomes somewhat hazy until, 10 years later, it was registered in the eastern part of Switzerland. In 1991, with around 100’000 kilometres driven, the Corniche was taken over by a coachwork specialist in the Bernese Mountain area but was then driven very little. In 2019 the brakes received an overhaul including the replacement of the brake distribution unit valves, the master brake cylinder, the rear brake callipers, the rear discs as well as all brake hoses. Recently the car arrived with its last owner who commissioned a major service and the Corniche successfully passed its Veteran MOT in July 2024. With roughly 104’000 kilometres showing, the Rolls-Royce is in good to very good and very original condition And with the current MOT the car can be registered immediately and will surely provide many happy miles to a new owner.
