One of the most iconic cars to have adorned the 1980's, many cars have been modified or created to replicate a car that now fetches in excess of $500,000. Scissor doors, spaceship design and featured in some of the most iconic film and TV moments throughout the last 40 years it is no surprise therefore that an underground industry in creating the very best evocations has brought about such fantastic examples.

This stunning bespoke recreation we offer here featuring a 5.7 litre V8 with manual transmission has been built from true sportscar origins, presented in Bianco Polo Park White coachwork with matching white leather trim with original electric seats, this correctly sized space frame twin rear shock build was, we are informed, constructed using fine quality parts and is registered as 1982 Porsche with a UK V5 logbook, Porsche being the main donor vehicle (drive train etc.). The vendor having used the car at local shows throughout the summer openly grins ear to ear when he talks of the wonderful experience he has had owning such a unique car. In his words “much easier to drive than some original examples”. The American V8 engine is connected to a Porsche 918 gearbox giving in his words “great performance and handling, providing a very powerful and solid ride”. Following the build of this car the correct curved "Star-glass" was installed for further authenticity which also extends to the correct door handles, lock and lights. The cabin boasts a beautiful Alpine sound system for full 80's nostalgia, indeed all that is needed is a white suit for the driver and oversized sunglasses. Due to its age AHK 125X is tax and MoT exempt and this fantastic vehicle turn heads wherever it goes, indeed if you do not see the car approaching, you will hear the fantastic sound omitted from the custom exhaust system.
