Produced from 1981 to 1991, the Porsche 944 was a great commercial success. With more than 30,000 orders in the first year of production, it is similar to the Porsche 924, with which it shares some characteristics. Its interior retained the same layout as the 924 and was simply updated with a change of trim. Unlike the 924, it has a genuine Porsche engine (a half V8 from the Porsche 928) which has the particularity of having balance shafts turning in the opposite direction, which offers a real flexibility to the driving. The exterior design follows the lines of the 924 Carrera GT, with rear wings that are equally wide but more subtly integrated into the overall line of the car.
This model dates from 1984 and is in good condition. The grey/brown paintwork is a departure from the usual white or red seen on its sisters. The pop-up headlights work well, as does the engine in the front position. You'll probably appreciate the rocker arm cover with the Porsche lettering. Inside, there are leather and cloth seats. The dashboard is in good condition and has a charcoal grey paint finish. A mechanical gearbox will accompany your sporty rides on the small French roads. A maintenance file will be given to the buyer.
