This car has been a race car for most of its life, competing in the 1996 PCA 48 Hours at Sebring event and many other HSR and SVRA events. Eligible to compete in SVRA and HRS vintage racing events. The body has been lightened using several fiberglass panels, as well as Lexan windows all around. Coilover suspension has also been installed along with three-piece wheels, a roll cage, a Recaro racing seat, and a Fuel Safe fuel cell. 3.0L flat-six rebuilt in 2019 with no track time since rebuild. Distributor equipped engine with MSD ignition boxes and coils. The 915 5-speed manual transaxle features custom gear ratios, a JWE clutch kit, a lightweight pressure plate, and a limited-slip differential, as well as a shifter and linkage from WEVO. The JB Racing exhaust has an Innovate Wideband Air-Fuel Ratio sensor to monitor the engines fuel mixture. Fitted with a Firesense fire suppression system. Equipped with an AIM SOLO2DL and AIM SmartyCam.
