Beschreibung
By 1967, the Porsche 911 was in its third year of production and had reached an incredible level of success both in the marketplace and in the eye of enthusiasts. This 911, as delivered to its first owner Richard Sloane of Upper Montclair, New Jersey, was very well equipped with Koni Shocks, Webasto heater, halogen fog lights, and a Blaupunkt radio, among other options. Thought by the consignor to have had only three long-term owners and to have traveled only 39,500 miles from new, this is an exceptional example of the SWB 911.
Truly a preservation class candidate, paint meter readings taken by the consignor are all consistent, the doors and engine lid are stamped with the original body number, and the wheels and glass were all confirmed to be correctly date coded. Finished in the stunning combination of Ivory with black leatherette interior, this Porsche is accompanied by a copy of the factory Kardex, a certificate of authenticity, original jack and tools, receipts, manuals, and a service booklet.
With a level of authentic originality rarely seen in this era of Porsches, this 911 should be on the short list of collectors who have been waiting for the right car to add to their stable.
