Beschreibung
"In February 2006, Porsche revealed their first generation 997 GT3 and, in common with all GT2 and GT3 iterations, most of the developments and upgrades were directly related to performance improvements on their competition cars and the associated homologation requirements for FIA approval. In addition to the new 415bhp, 3.6 litre flat-six with its six-speed gearbox, the vehicle pioneered 'zero lift' aerodynamics, meaning, at speed, the body shape created only aerodynamic downforce with no grip-diminishing lift and made extensive use of a racing-related version of Porsche's active PASM suspension system. This made it the first of the quick RS or GT3 versions to feature an electronically-adjustable suspension setup.
This GT3 example is in impeccable condition with a list of extras that bring it up to full RS specification. The impressive specification of this left hand drive version includes the desirable Porsche Chrono package, an Alcantara steering wheel, red dials and an Akrapovic Evolution race exhaust. Both of the previous owners are described as meticulous in their ownership and the cars file shows a fully documented history and receipts for all works completed. The file for this impressive road car shows eight services, the most recent within 3,000km. Described by the owner as a joy to drive, this stunning Porsche is offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate.
