Unveiled at the 1992 Paris Motor Show, the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 was designed to meet the demand of customers who wanted to recapture the spirit of the famous 930. This new version has an engine specifically developed on the basis of the Carrera RS, still equipped with a single turbocharger. With 360 horsepower, it offers performance equivalent to that of the Ferrari 512 TR, particularly in terms of acceleration. Produced between 1993 and 1994, this version marked the end of the 964's career and was the last 911 Turbo to be equipped with two-wheel drive.
The example we are offering was delivered new on April 24, 1993 by the Porsche dealership in Amiens. Intended for the French market (code C04), it is distinguished by its Polar Silver color and features options such as a 92-liter tank and electrically adjustable sports seats. One of the rarest features of this model is the absence of a sunroof, making it a particularly rare version.
In 2015, the engine was dismantled for a complete overhaul, including a seal check. A minor repair was carried out on the left wing in the rear compartment, but the vehicle is in a very satisfactory general condition.
Today, with 145,000 km on the clock, this Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 is a testament to the constant care it has received over the years.
