EXTERIOR
With its wide hips and whale tail spoiler the 964 Turbo is a timeless and important piece of automotive artwork; marking a significant evolution of the Porsche brand the 964 captures the classic design whilst incorporating the next generation of technology.

Having been stripped and treated to a fresh coat of Amazon Green Metallic in the summer of 2023, this wonderful hue is a truly complimentary colour of the air-cooled era and is as popular as it is unusual. The satin like appearance of the bodywork has been carefully prepared and dazzles under both natural and studio lights. Thankfully the bottom of the front bumper has escaped any altercations with kerbs or sleeping policemen, ensuring the grille and insert remain straight and clean.

Lights are clear, crack and moisture free whilst rubbers retain good fit, finish and colour.

INTERIOR
The interior of the 964 is simple but effective, with classic grey leather and black carpets it compliments a smart and elegant colour scheme alongside the Amazon coachwork. The heated leather sports seats offer plenty of support and show in superb shape and contour having recently been restored.

Grey leather further stretches to the door cards and rear seats adding to the exclusivity and luxury of the model at the time with a popular Classic PCCM unit offering broader in-car entertainment.

The rear bench appears untouched whilst the carpet set retains a deep pile texture and feel.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The M30 turbo engine has been totally stripped and rebuilt by Northway Porsche over the winter of 2022. Main crank, big end and intermediate bearings were replaced alongside cam chains, guides, piston rings and rocker shafts as well as renowned ARP rod bolts and head studs.

Having been run in the oil and filter was changed in March of 2024 alongside a clutch system bleed and new gear lever base bushes to ensure drivetrain is in synch with the formidable new engine.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This example is fitted with the later model Speedline split rims. A size up from the normal Cup variant found on the 3.3, this 18 inch set is in superb condition with no signs of lacquer degradation and the etched Speedline still clearly visible on each rim.

Tyres are a matching set of premium N rated Michelin Pilot Sports with the last 4 wheel alignment in July of 2023.

Brakes are strong and pull the car up quickly and strongly with no adverse pitch or pull.

HISTORY FILE
Originally supplied as a demonstrator to Mann Island of Liverpool, this Turbo has a lovely continuous history with 19 stamps in the original service book.

Over recent years the current enthusiast owner would work alongside Northway Porsche and the OPC to source parts and develop this beautiful example of a flat 6 legend.

A great deal of time and money has been invested to ensure the car has been sympathetically restored with all suspension, brakes, bearings and bushes removed and renewed. In addition to the full engine rebuild the Turbo and fuel injection system has been overhauled and finished with a new stainless exhaust. The interior has also been subject to restoration or replacement with new carpets, headlining, dash and door tops.

The car is simply stunning to look at and having completed it’s running in service, and with a fresh MOT upon sale, it is ready to be enjoyed and admired.
