Beschreibung

- At the end of World War II, Germany was subject to international laws prohibiting it from carrying out certain manufacturing activities, including the study and production of aeroplanes of any kind and for any use for at least 10 years. Companies in the sector had to reinvent themselves and, thanks to their skills, they often turned to the automotive and motorbike sectors. Messerschmitt, one of the oldest global aircraft factories, was one of these and, in 1953, presented its closed three-wheeled motorbike, or microcar, Kabinenroller KR 175, soon followed by the KR 200, designed by aeronautical engineer Fritz Fend.
- The project validity, characterised by the tandem position of the two occupants, was such that, in addition to local success, several production licences were granted to foreign companies.
- Mival (Metalmeccanica Italiana Valtrompia Ltd.) was founded in 1950 in Gardone Valtrompia, Italy, precisely to produce economical transport vehicles. In 1953, it was granted a licence to produce the Messerschmitt microcar in Italy. Unchanged in line and mechanical concepts, this derivative model was renamed Mivalino.
- Equipped with a single-cylinder, 2-stroke, 171.7cc, air-cooled engine.
- The Extra version was a better finished interior of the Normale , and a two-tone paint finish.
- Produced in 1955. Restored in the same condition as new.
- The Mivalino has always been appreciated for its construction quality: this unique example allows you to buy one as new, 63 years after the end of production.
