Beschreibung
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI was the first 'Evo' to be marketed on a global scale, which coincided with its huge success in the WRC at the hands of Tommi Mäkinen. Add to that its dynamic performance and aggressive design and it quickly became an icon of the 90s!
Under the hood is the legendary 4G63T engine, a 2.0 turbo that produces (supposedly) 280 horsepower. It is known today that this number was quite conservative and only served to appease the Japanese authorities. The all-wheel drive system, combined with Torsen mechanical differentials, provides exceptional traction and ‘ridiculous’ cornering speed!
The Evo 6 also receives several aerodynamic improvements over previous models, including a larger rear wing and a redesigned front bumper. Inside, the Evo 6 maintains its simple layout, with reinforced Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel and minimalist styling in order to keep the focus on driving.
This EVO 6 is an RS2 version, fitted from the factory with Brembo brakes and 17-inch OZ Racing wheels. It was sold to the first owner in Portugal, in June 1999, and is in extremely good condition. It currently runs 18-inch Revolution Motorsport Millenium wheels shod with 2020 GoodYear tires and will be delivered with the original OZ wheels, folder with user manual, inspection sheets and maintenance history.
