Powered by a three-litre twin turbo V6, 286 hp, 4-wheel drive, all-wheel-steering, active rear spoiler as well as air conditioning and leather interior, the Mitsubishi 3000GT was a serious competitor to the Japanese elite such as the Honda NSX, Nissan 300ZX and Toyota Supra. With a new price of around 90’000 francs, the top of the range model from Mitsubishi was not cheap by far, and so, between 1991 and 1999, only 15’539 examples found willing buyers. Our example is a Swiss delivery and was first registered on the 15th of June 1994. In 2017, the racy Nippon sportster with then 175’000 kilometres driven, was taken over from the third owner by the vendor and added to his little collection. The 3000GT has now covered 178’000 kilometres, has a complete service booklet and presents itself in good, original condition. The car is driving very well and, together with the (certified) 18-inch ATS rims, a set of original winter wheels will be handed over with the car. The latest MOT was completed in August 2022 but for a Swiss buyer a new MOT will be performed.
