Completed on 20/21st October 1976, this MGB roadster, probably the ultimate starter classic for a young classic car enthusiast, was shipped to California on the 5th November 1976 where, on the 20th January 1977, it was first registered. At the end of 1990 the roadster returned to its homeland where, in 1991, it was discovered and acquired by a Swiss enthusiast. Still in its original “Brooklands green” with the correct brown interior the MGB was bought in 2010 by a Ticinese garage owner and collector who consequently decided to remove the rather ungainly rubber bumpers and convert the car to the much more attractive chrome bumpers. The emission control certificate indicates that the car has been driven only about 1‘000 miles since 1995(!). The MG is in good to very good condition and will be handed over to its next lucky owner with a Veteran MOT completed in December 2021.
