This sensational time capsule 300 SD was purchased new from Mercedes- Benz of North America in Hollywood, California, by Bing Yiu Yip of South Pasadena, a Mercedes-Benz collector who took a different vehicle from his fleet to work almost every day. According to his wife, he rarely drove this vehicle and as such put just 81 miles on it during his ownership. Mr. Yip passed away recently and his wife sold the car to the consignor, an aficionado of low-mileage original Mercedes-Benz. A letter from Mr. Yip’s wife remains on file.

The consignor returned the Mercedes-Benz to running condition, drove it two miles and lightly detailed it, making sure to preserve its marvelous original details such as its numerous original stickers and factory-inspection markings.
