A year after the introduction of the CLK-class coupe, Mercedes introduced the exceptionally beautiful convertible. The four-passenger convertible segment is very small, and with this car Mercedes immediately put itself at the top. The car excelled in design, equipment level, driving comfort and safety.

Right from its introduction, Mercedes offered the CLK55 AMG with the particularly sought-after 5.5-liter V8 which was good for 367 hp and 510 Nm of torque. This car was clearly distinguished from the standard models by a number of striking features such as AMG sports suspension, AMG sports exhaust, 18-inch AMG double-spoke alloy wheels, AMG sports seats and a powerful AMG braking system. Can you think of a nicer way to transport four people in a convertible?

The car we are offering here was delivered to Mercedes Netherlands in 2004 and it was used by them as an introductory car. In 2005 it was then sold by ASV cars to the first Dutch owner ( a well-known hospitality entrepreneur ). This one owned him until the end of 2016 after which the car was sold through automotions in 2017 to the second owner. In 2022 it was sold via van Maurik to the owner we recently purchased it from.

Because this was the introduction car it is really overfilled. Every conceivable option is available and the car is a so-called designo version which also guarantees an exclusive appearance. This is evident from the color palette which is particularly chic and in this configuration has only been sold in very limited numbers. We find it a real eye catcher.

The Mercedes is in exceptionally beautiful condition and has clearly always been driven by enthusiasts. The mileage is beautifully low and fully documented.
