For the 55th Anniversary of AMG, Mercedes-AMG had just unveiled its most powerful customer car yet - the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series. With a limited run of only 55 units worldwide, this car was only offered to Mercedes' most exclusive and high-profile VIP clients. They remain one of the lowest-production and most collectible modern AMGs ever produced, certainly making it a true collectors' car.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, the GT Track Series embodies AMG's core philosophy: perfect the best and elevate it for the track. This special edition blends the DNA of the iconic Black Series with the performance attributes of the GT3 and GT4 models, creating a performance machine that is both refined and fierce.

Powered by a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8, the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series produces a staggering 734 horsepower and delivers a maximum torque of 626 lb-ft. This powerhouse engine is paired with a Hewland HLS six-speed sequential transmission. With a curb weight of just over 3,000 pounds, the car offers exact handling and an unmistakable driving feel, thanks to its fully adjustable four-way dampers and lightweight construction.

Finished in MANUFAKTUR Hightech Silver Magno finish, complemented by design elements in Red and Anthracite, the design and aerodynamics of the GT Track Series are purpose-built for performance. The car features a high-downforce front splitter, a large radiator grille with enlarged intercooler openings, a ducted hood, fender vents, front canards, side-skirt extension, and a rear diffuser all working together to optimize airflow and stability at high speeds. The massive two-stage rear wing, an electronically controlled center flap, was designed for maximum downforce and cornering performance. Riding on 18 inch forged aluminum wheels, the car is brought to a halt with large 15.4 front and 14 inch rear steel ventilated and slotted two-piece rotors and AP Racing brake calipers. A dual master cylinder with a balance bar is adjustable from the driver's seat with the AP Racing brake-bias adjuster. Every detail on the GT Track Series speaks the language of motorsport, crafted to dominate track days and club sports events.

Inside, the car features a race-developed steering wheel created in collaboration with sim racing experts at Cube Controls. The wheel offers a broad adjustment range and includes numerous controls for precise handling. The dashboard is equipped with a fully programmable Bosch Driver Display Unit (DDU), providing intuitive operation and real-time data logging including a lap trigger to monitor lap times. Additionally, the car is equipped with a roll cage, carbon-fiber seat boxes fitted with a Schroth multi-point harness, a fire suppression system, and driver's safety nets.

Each of the 55 Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series vehicles is hand-built in Affalterbach, and each one carries an embossed "1 of 55" plaque. The limited-edition status is further highlighted by embroidered "Track Series" markings on the driver's seat and a custom car cover. Only offered to the most exclusive AMG customers when new, this GT Track Series has been enjoyed by just a single private owner from new. Displaying just 1 kilometer from new, it remains in virtually as delivered condition today. With only 55 units ever produced to mark AMG's 55th anniversary, this is more than just a simple tribute to the brand's legacy but an extremely collectible automobile echoing a celebration of motorsport innovation that few enthusiasts have ever had the chance to experience.
