EXTERIOR
The GTR has been a master stroke for AMG with that age old recipe of race car looks for the road. A Twin Turbo V8, muscle car stance and aerodynamic innovation offers considerable appeal both at the kerb and on the move.

The exclusive AMG paintwork leaves no doubt as to the sports car’s origin; having spent most of its development time on the “Green Hell” of the Nordschleife. Presenting in it’s original factory paintwork, this track special shows no signs of misuse with PPF liberally applied from new.

True to motorsport form the GTR’s front wings, roof, engine bay and internal cross braces are also made out of carbon fibre to save weight and lower the car’s centre of gravity.

INTERIOR
A high beltline, concave-shaped door panelling, low seating position and a dramatic centre console design makes the interior of the GTR feel like the cockpit of a fighter jet; a unique take for AMG’s first-in house Supercar and a total ergonomic triumph.

An elegant map line of yellow stitching accentuates the curvature of the gorgeous cabin space whilst the branded Recaro Pole position seats provide that familiar blend of comfort and support; unmarked and in fantastic original condition.

As expected, refinements such as Nav, Bluetooth and MB’s own coveted ‘Track Pace’ offer day to day considerations both on the road and track.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The character of the M178 is incredibly flexible; friendly and approachable in Comfort to all out hectic in Race mode. The engine utilizes a “hot-inside V” configuration, where the exhaust manifold and turbos are found between the two cylinder banks for reducing turbo lag and better engine packaging.

The GTR has brand new turbochargers with smaller waste gates, forcing the boost higher with a pressure of 19.6 PSI as opposed to 17.4 in the lesser models.

Far from a bone shaker on the road – Electrically adjustable damping contributes further to the car’s broad operating bracket.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The alloy racing wheels not only improve dynamics but look sensational and present in pristine condition with no chips or scuffs in sight. They are wrapped in premium Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres with ample tread remaining.

Carbon Ceramics offer mighty performance time and time again whilst also offering a considerable 15kgs of weight saving.

First registered in January of 2018 this GTR has a full MB main dealer history.
