The X180 Generation Lotus Esprit was a Giugiaro-based design modernized by none other than Peter Stevens, the same man who designed the legendary McLaren F1. The wedge shaped body and pop up headlights makes the Esprit iconic to this day.

Powering the Esprit Turbo SE is a turbocharged 2.2-liter inline 4 engine. This engine, developed in collaboration with renowned turbo manufacturer Garrett, delivers an impressive 264 horsepower.

This particular car was sold new to its first owner in 1989, delivered in a Calypso Red exterior beautifully matched with a tan interior. Notably, in 1991, the car found a long-time custodian who kept the car for 28 years until 2019. When the timing belt also was changed.

In September 2021, MOTIKON acquired the car. To ensure it would present as well as it did in its first few years on the road, we completed a full overhaul. Cosmetically, the interior has been refurbished, and the exterior, along with the wheels, has been repainted. Mechanically, New brake pads were fitted and MOTIKON, as part of our standard procedure for all our cars, conducted a test on the vehicle and addressed every issue identified during the test, ensuring its mechanical integrity.
