"The Lister Jaguar XJS is a high-performance sports car that was produced by Lister Cars in collaboration with Jaguar between 1986 and 1993. This Lister Jaguar was converted by Lister in 1991 but only in body and not mechanics or interior. Its six-litre engine is mated to an automatic gearbox and this particular car is numbered, according to records, as number 79 and is presented in Rossa Red with a Magnolia leather interior and red piping. The car still carries its original registration number and was delivered new in March 1991. It comes with some original manuals including its Lister Jaguar service book which shows a full service history up until 2007 when the last main service was carried out with 43,345 miles showing on the odometer (now showing 43,368) in the original leather Lister Jaguar wallet and it also comes with new MoT test certificate. These cars are brutishly attractive with flared arches, synonymous of the Lister conversions and this example still sits on the correct and fabulous Lister wheels. Today, the Lister Jaguar XJS remains a highly sought-after collectible car, prized for its rarity and historical significance.
