Harry Alexander Classics is delighted to be able to offer for sale a Solihull’s Range Rover Classic Vogue, 3.9 V8, Automatic in Plymouth Blue (LRC 434).

Solihull’s pride themselves on offering some of the finest period correct examples in the market.

This particular example, Solihill’s stock number 047, has just 152,000 kilometres or 94,450 miles. We acquired it from a collector in Madrid who imported the car to Spain from Bahrain, and paid for the registration on Historic Spanish plates. Including shipping, import, and Spanish Historic registration, the cost to the buyer was well in excess of €60,000.

This is therefore, an opportunity not to be missed; to acquire a future investment and an excellent example for potentially much less - at a price set by the market.

Mechanically, as one would expect, it is in extremely good order. A comprehensive service has been completed and with less than 100,000 miles, the engine and transmission are both very smooth. All electrics work correctly, including the sunroof, windows, central locking, lights and air conditioning.

The vehicle drives very well with plenty of power and torque from the 3.9 injected V8. The steering is precise, and the ride is excellent with the car benefitting from very good suspension and bushings. There are no vibrations throughout the cabin and it is an enjoyable car to drive or ride in as a passenger.

Coming from the Middle East, the chassis and body is excellent. It is free of any rust, there are no signs of any repairs, and the chassis is original and unmodified or altered.

Inside, the interior is very well preserved and complete. The seats are in excellent condition, as is the dash, centre console, cubby box and parcel shelf, the latter is impressive as it normally shows wear in unrestored examples. The carpeting is also in excellent condition.
