Without doubt we can say this is a value for money Lancia Fulvia Rally 1.3 S. A design that was far ahead of its time and can still be considered very special. The Series 1 looks a bit limp with its body hanging down at the front, but appearances are deceptive. The handling, steering and performance are really a joy to experience and there were few cars in that class that could match this. Driving the car that we now offer, we are still amazed by the superb handling. The steering is wonderfully direct, the engine runs perfectly and response immediately to the throttle. The gearbox shifts just as smoothly as a hot knife cutting through Italian Mozzarella.

This Lancia was delivered in Italy on June 30th. 1969 and came to the Netherlands in 1987. As a helicopter engineer, the owner of course loved the beautiful technique of the little Italian. That was in his genes because his father also owned the most exotic cars over time. So the Fulvia comes from a good nest of car enthusiasts.

Is it a concours condition car? No, it is not. In that case the car should have been completely restored at some time and that never happened. The car is now in an honest and original condition, has nice paint, but there a few small spots that eventually need some attention. For the time being, however, we would not do anything about it, because it does not getting worser, nobody will see it, and experience tells us that not everyone is looking for a ” as brand new” car. Just use the car for which it was made: enjoy and drive.
