"This replica of a 1953 Lancia D24 was commissioned in July 2017 using the mechanics of Reliant Scimitar SS1 as the donor vehicle. The running gear is from Ford and we are advised that the availability of spare parts is not a problem. Described by the vendor as being tremendous fun, this was found to be the case on a recent test drive when after firing up on request, the car provided nothing but smiles from both driver and head turning pedestrians alike. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and a fresh MoT test certificate, this keenly priced sports car is ready to put a smile on the face of a new owner. Only 6 of the original D24’s were built with only 2 of them surviving. The last time one of these sold in 2009 it achieved over $3 million."
