"Manufactured by the Italian industrial giant Innocenti, the Lambretta motor scooter mobilised an entire generation of Italians in the immediate post-war years. The scooter gained instant acceptance everywhere, its cleanliness and convenience, in particular, appealing to those who did not have the inclination, time or money for the larger motorcycle. Scooters would eventually surpass their strictly utilitarian origins to become an integral part of British youth culture in the 1960's. The Lambretta TV175 was all new and incorporated innovations of enclosed chain drive and a four-speed gearbox. Latterly they moved the headlamp from the front apron to the handlebar fairing, thus creating what for many enthusiasts is the definitive Lambretta look.
This absolutely lovely example of this iconic motorcycle is presented in superb condition in light blue and white with front mounted spotlights and spare wheel, also with the added benefit of a rear chrome luggage rack. A wonderful classic that just keeps giving pleasure and brings smiles to all that admire it.
