Beschreibung
"In 1975 we saw the launch of the XJS from Jaguar, who would have even dreamed that the replacement for the iconic E-Type would be in production until 1996. During this impressive 21 year build run 115,413 units were built by the Coventry manufacturer. The longevity of the model is a tribute to its design and performance. 1991 saw some reengineering to the model which included amendments to the rear window a new 4.0 litre version of the AJ16 engine and more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers.
Originally supplied by Weybridge Automobiles and registered on 4th April 1996, this impressive looking XJS Celebration Coupé presents extremely well in Titanium Grey with Warm Charcoal interior. The subtle styling cues of the Celebration model which include seats embossed with the iconic leaping cat logo, wood and leather steering wheel, wooden gear knob and sports alloy wheels are all present and show the model at its best. The service book has an enviable 16 stamps. The odometer reading is 67,773 miles and with only two previous owners N333 JAG can rightly be considered a fine example of this classic Jaguar model. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate valid until April 2020 and the cherished plate, this Coventry cat is a fabulous example of a model that is enjoying a resurgence in its popularity."
