1967 JAGUAR TYPE E 4.2 Series 1 2+2
- J671E77253 chassis
- Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate
- Beautiful original color
- One of the last series 1
- French Collection registration certificate
This Jaguar E-Type was put on the road on March 6, 1967 in New York. It is a genuine Jaguar E-Type 4.2 L 2+2 Coupe “Series 1”, although its exposed headlights may suggest a Series ½. In fact, the latter was only manufactured between December 1967 and September 1968.
After it was delivered, we find traces of it in 1996, when it was registered in the state of Illinois. The owner kept it until 2015, when it was imported into France. It was at this time that the car was restored (invoices not present).
In 2016, its current owner acquired it, looking for a car to drive with his family. He therefore chose this 2+2.
Since its acquisition, the crankshaft bearings and the crankcase seals have been replaced.
Today, this Jaguar is in good health in terms of its history, and has its Jaguar Heritage certificate of authenticity issued in June 2016.
A very rare version, this 1967 Series 1 allows the pleasure of driving an E-Type to be shared with the family. Although in good general condition, the rear brakes will need to be checked to obtain a valid technical inspection. This Jaguar represents a great opportunity to discover the joys of an E-Type for a fairly reasonable price.
