Being masterfully restored by Graham Hill, this example presents well for a vehicle of its work style and era. With very few left in a comparable condition, this example is extremely rare and highly collectible when found in working order. Whether for practical use or an item of display, this vehicle is the unique addition fit for all collections.
With its 4 Cylinder, 2.2L 18HP engine, its 3-speed manual transmission provides enough mechanical power for its construction lifestyle. Production dates ranged between 1931-1939 ensuring this model saw all the necessary tweaks and upgrades from the initial release year. The vehicle uses a single plate disc braking system with steering from an 11-inch-single plate clutch. Its large track design proved efficient across the industry and gave International Harvester CO. its competitive edge across the market.
The 'McCormick Deering' T-20 1937 was a release by International Harvester CO. A Melbourne-based subsidiary, the International Harvester Company of Australia Pty Ltd was established in 1912 to manage Australian distribution and sales of International Harvester products, with branch offices in interstate capital cities and a network of 550 dealers by the late 1940s. International Harvester became a major competitor to local manufacturers like H.V. McKay's Sunshine Harvester Works.
