The Honda Accord Type-R was produced from 1998 to 2002, built as a stripped back lightweight performance version of the standard Accord. Powered by a 2.2 Litre four cylinder “Red Top’ VTEC engine producing 209bhp the Type R could accelerate from 0-62mph in just over 7 secs and onto a top speed of 142mph.
