The Ferrari 812 Superfast comes from a long line of front-engine V12s. The replacement for the F12 kept the naturally aspirated V12 steering away from any heavy batteries and electric motors. It`s engine capacity was upped to 6.5L and power was up to 800bhp. The V12 is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and because the box is at the back, it gives the 812 the same slight rearward weight bias as the F12 had before it. Active aerodynamic flaps in the front splitter and the rear diffuser allow the 812 to develop incredible levels of active downforce without the need for a large rear wing ruining the flowing lines of the car. This is coupled with the welcome addition of four-wheel steering, giving the 812 the agility and feeling of a car with a much shorter wheelbase.
The car we have on offer is a fantastic one owner example with full Ferrari service history by HR Owen in London. It is painted in Ferrari historic colour of Canna Di Fucile with nero leather and alcantara interior and a very big specification list. This includes suspension lifter, 20” silver forged racing wheels, Scuderia shields, passenger display, parking camera, full electric daytona style seats, brake callipers in Alluminio, cavallino stitched on headrest in rosso, high emotion low emission (HELO), red rev counter, adaptive headlights with SBL function and a navtrak system.
