Built in early 2006, this Ferrari 599 GTB left the factory with a host of optional extras. Painted in Giallo Modena, with matching-coloured brake callipers that gripped around the carbon-ceramic brake disc kit, further options included Scuderia Ferrari shields and 20-inch Monolithic alloy wheels. Inside, the seats, headliner, parcel shelf, and steering wheel were trimmed in Charcoal leather, further complemented by Grigio Scuro carpeting. Creature comforts included a navigation system, parking sensors, Giallo instrument dials, a reversing camera, electric seats, and a Bose hi-fi system.

Arriving in France in summer 2006, this 599 GTB Fiorano made a multi-page appearance in the June edition of the French motoring publication Sport Auto, which featured an in-depth report on Ferrari’s newest model. Later, a previous owner sent the car to Ferrari Scuderia GT to receive what would be the ultimate upgrade: a six-speed manual gearbox conversion. A letter dated 1 June 2021 on file from Scuderia GT confirms the conversion was carried out “using only original Ferrari parts” and “in accordance with the Ferrari factory standard”.

In February 2023, Ferrari Kroymans carried out an €8,000 service and replaced an exhaust manifold as well as rectifying some engine and gearbox leaks. Acquired by the consignor that same month, in July he spent €16,500 with Modena Motorsport, who replaced the clutch release bearing, changed the engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid, coolant, fitted four new Michelin Pilot Super Sport K1 tyres, and a Tubi Style exhaust. In November 2023, another €15,600 was spent on the removal, recoating and fitment of all the “sticky button” plastics inside the car. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer read 34,394 kilometres.

As such a wonderfully specified example, this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano truly is a “must-have” for any modern Ferrari enthusiast looking to capture the very best of the Prancing Horse’s 2000s-era design, but with a manual gearbox.
