Beschreibung
Building on the already successful grand touring recipe of the 550 Maranello, the 575M was unveiled in 2002 at the Geneva Motor Show. Placed behind the 575 nomenclature on its rear deck lid was a distinctive “M” which stood for “modified,” denoting its numerous updates over the outgoing 550. Revised styling, improved weight distribution, and a higher-output 508 hp V-12 engine were all standard, but most notably, it featured an optional semiautomatic F1 transmission, a first for any V-12 Ferrari. When selected, the 575M offered a slice of cutting-edge F1 technology for the road, capable of a 0–60 mph time in just 4.2 seconds, thanks to its column-mounted paddle shifters. Delivered new to its first owner via The Collection of Coral Gables, Florida, this 575M sports desirable options such as its Daytona-style seats, 19" modular wheels, Scuderia shields, and full interior carbon fiber trim. The car remained in Southern Florida until 2006, at which point 2,500 miles had been added to the odometer. It was then sold to a private collection in Texas, where extremely limited mileage was added over the following 17 years of ownership. Accompanying service documentation shows major servicing in 2023, in which the timing belt, spark plugs, and fluids were replaced. This sharp V-12 grand tourer sported a mere 3,112 miles at the time of cataloguing, making it a genuine collectors-grade example that presents especially well. It is accompanied by its original owner’s manuals, tool kit, and a copy of its original window sticker – a testament to its outstanding presentation. Do not miss your chance to own this well-specified 575M which is stunningly poised for its next chapter.
