Beschreibung
The Ferrari 575M, unveiled at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show, elevated the legacy of its predecessor, the 550 Maranello, with a host of thoughtful updates that have now cemented its status in Ferrari’s grand touring lineage. The “M” in its name, short for modificata, signified a series of refinements, including a redesigned front fascia, adaptive suspension, larger disc brakes, and a potent 508 hp 5.75-liter V-12 engine, bridging the gap between classic Ferrari tradition and modern innovation. Perhaps its most groundbreaking feature was the optional semiautomatic F1 transaxle, the first ever offered in a V-12 Ferrari. With its column-mounted paddle shifters, this advancement allowed for sharper gear changes and contributed to an impressive 0–60 mph time of just 4.2 seconds.
Delivered new by Ferrari of Beverly Hills, this 575M was acquired by its first and primary owner in January 2003. Finished in a stunning shade of Grigio Titanio (Titanium Gray), it features the desirable Fiorano handling package and is accented by a full Nero (Black) leather interior. Daytona-style seats are stitched to complement the Grigio Titanio paint, and the cabin includes a parcel shelf wrapped in optional leather. Records on file indicate servicing primarily at its selling dealer, and a recent major belt change was completed in October 2024. Displaying less than 10,000 miles at time of cataloguing, this stellar example of a true modern classic Ferrari is ready to be enjoyed by its next long-term caretaker.
