Der Ferrari 488 GTE ist ein bemerkenswertes Rennfahrzeug, das Technologie, Leistung und Geschichte in sich vereint. Diese Struktur garantiert einen perfekten Verbrauch und vollständige Kraftstoffnutzung. Die Struktur und Kinematik des Aufhängungsdesigns wurden speziell für den GTE komplett überarbeitet, wobei das Konzept des Straßenmodells beibehalten wurde. Einstellbare vordere und hintere Stabilisatoren und Stoßdämpfer sind leicht zugänglich, um das Auto im Rennmodus schnell zu optimieren. Die Elektronik-Hardware und die Steuerungssoftware wurden speziell für den GTE entwickelt und konzipiert. Der umfangreiche Einsatz von Motorsportkomponenten und die Integration von elektronischen Einheiten über CAN- und Hochgeschwindigkeits-Ethernet-Kommunikation gewährleisten ein hohes Maß an Präzision und maximale Reaktionsfähigkeit in den Steuerungen. Die Boost-Steuerung und die Traktionskontrolle sowie das ergonomische Lenkrad mit integrierter Gangauswahl ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger Erfahrung im GT-Rennsport und der Evolution von Formel-1-Einsitzern und ermöglichen es dem Fahrer, das volle Potenzial des Autos selbstbewusst auszuschöpfen. Das Datenerfassungssystem, das mit einer leistungsstarken Schaltplatine erstellt wurde, ermöglicht eine eingehende Leistungsanalyse zur Verbesserung der Korrelation zwischen der Konfiguration des Fahrzeugs und seiner tatsächlichen Leistung. Selbst das elektrische System wurde optimiert, um dem Fahrer zu ermöglichen, das Potenzial des Autos voll auszuschöpfen. Der GTE V8-Turbomotor weist die größten Unterschiede im Vergleich zur Straßenversion auf. Der Renn-V8 hat neu gestaltete Kernkomponenten wie Kolben, Wellen, Pleuelstangen und Turbolader. Der sorgfältig positionierte Luftkühler am Kompressor-Auslass spiegelt das Bestreben wider, die schnellstmögliche Motorreaktion zu erreichen. Kontinuierlich werden Tests durchgeführt, um maximale Leistung, Reaktionsfähigkeit und überlegene Handhabung zu erzielen. Die vollständig mit Ausnahme des Dachbereichs abnehmbare Karosserie besteht aus Kohlefaser. Die Karosserie und der Rahmen kombinieren sich, um eine herausragende strukturelle Integrität zu bieten, die die Stabilität des Autos optimiert, während es gleichzeitig extrem leicht bleibt. Der 488 GTE setzt die Tradition der herausragenden Zuverlässigkeit fort, die bei Ferrari immer eine große Quelle des Stolzes war.

Das hier angebotene Fahrzeug wurde als 488 GTE 2019 EVO umgerüstet und speziell für Langstreckenrennen optimiert. Es ist mit fünffach verstellbaren Multimatic-Dämpfern ausgestattet und verfügt über Langstreckenscheinwerfer, Langstreckenbremsen, eine Klimaanlage, ein Fahrerhelm-Kühlsystem, Cockpitbeleuchtung, ein Trinksystem von Progressive Motorsport, eine Kohlefaser-Kupplung, F1-Stil Stahlradmuttern, Motec 4G Telemetrie, eine Rückfahrkamera, eine Lithiumbatterie sowie ein Reifendruck- und Temperaturüberwachungssystem. Zudem bietet es ein USB-Datenaufzeichnungs- und -downloadsystem. Der Ferrari hat eine eindrucksvolle Historie in verschiedenen Rennveranstaltungen vorzuweisen, unter anderem:

- Rennsieg bei den California 8 Stunden im Jahr 2019 in der GT3-Spezifikation.

- 3. Platz Fuji Blancpain Asia ProAm 2018 in der GT3-Spezifikation.

- 3. Platz bei den Blancpain Asia ProAm 2018 Rennen in Suzuka und Ningbo.

- Bei den ProAm Suzuka 10 Stunden im selben Jahr erzielte das Fahrzeug den 2. Platz in der GT3-Spezifikation.

Unter GTE Spezifikationen nahm dieser Wagen an den 24 Stunden von Le Mans 2020 teil, ist aber auf Grund von technischen Problemen nur 13 Minuten vor Rennende auf dem 15. Platz ausgeschieden. Durch eine komplette Revision des Fahrzeugs haben Motor, Getriebe, Antriebswellen und Stoßdämpfer erst eine Laufleistung von 4.700 KM.

Adjustable front and rear stabilizers and shock absorbers are easily accessible to quickly optimize the car for racing. The electronic hardware and control software have been specially developed and designed for the GTE. The extensive use of motorsport components and the integration of electronic units through CAN and high-speed Ethernet communication ensure a high level of precision and maximum responsiveness in the controls. The boost control, traction control, and the ergonomic steering wheel with integrated traction control selection are the result of years of experience in GT racing and the evolution of Formula 1 single-seaters, allowing the driver to confidently exploit the full potential of the car. The data acquisition system, created with a powerful circuit board, enables in-depth performance analysis to improve the correlation between the vehicle's configuration and its actual performance. Even the electrical system has been optimized to allow the driver to maximize the car's potential. The GTE´s V8 turbocharged engine shows the most significant differences compared to the road version. The racing V8 has redesigned core components such as pistons, shafts, connecting rods, and turbochargers. The carefully positioned air cooler at the compressor outlet reflects the goal of achieving the quickest possible engine response. Continuous testing is carried out to achieve maximum performance, responsiveness, and superior handling. The completely removable body, except for the roof area, is made of carbon fiber. The body and frame combine to provide outstanding structural integrity, optimizing the car's stability while remaining extremely lightweight. The 488 GTE continues the tradition of outstanding reliability, which has always been a source of great pride for Ferrari.

The offered vehicle has been converted to a 488 GTE 2019 EVO and specially optimized for long-distance races. It is equipped with five-way adjustable Multimatic dampers and features long-distance headlights, long-distance brakes, air conditioning, a driver helmet cooling system, cockpit lighting, a drinking system from Progressive Motorsport, a carbon fiber clutch, F1-style steel wheel nuts, Motec 4G telemetry, a rearview camera, a lithium battery, and a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system. It also offers a USB data recording and download system. The vehicle being offered here has an impressive history in various racing events, including:

- It achieved 3rd place in GT3 specification at the Fuji Blancpain Asia ProAm in 2018.
- It also secured 3rd place in the Blancpain Asia ProAm 2018 races in Suzuka and Ningbo.
- The vehicle achieved 2nd place in GT3 specification at the ProAm Suzuka 10 Hours in the same year.
- Another significant success was the victory in the GT3 specification at the California 8 Hours in 2019.

Under the GTE specifications, the Ferrari participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2020 but retired in 15th place, just 13 minutes before the end of the race due to technical issues. Through a complete revision of the vehicle, the engine, transmission, drive shafts, and shock absorbers have only covered a mileage of 4,700 KM.
