Launched at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, the 458 Italia marks Ferrari's entry into a new era. The chassis, engine, transmission and interior are all new compared to the F430.
With its modern design by Pininfarina, it was an immediate success. The new 570bhp 4.5-litre V8 was a real departure from the competition, and the fabulous dual-clutch gearbox enabled almost instant gear changes while eliminating the problems of wear and tear and harshness of the F1 gearbox.
The car we're offering was delivered new to France by Charles Pozzi in November 2011 in this magnificent Rosso Corsa colour combined with striking black wheels. Options include carbon bucket seats and black leather with silver stitching. A set of original Ferrari silver wheels will also be ordered for the winter. These will be supplied with the car.
According to Histovec, in 2012 an expert-controlled repair procedure was carried out. That same year, it changed ownership and was acquired by a French company. Thereafter, it will be regularly serviced in the network as evidenced by a file of invoices and the service book.
Today, this 458 is in good general condition and has just over 42,000 km on the clock. It was Ferrari's last naturally-aspirated V8 berlinetta, a car that really made its mark on the 2010s.
