In October 1992 the 456 GT was presented as the new 2+2 Coupé from Maranello at the Paris salon. In January 1993 the car was first offered with its 6 speed manual gearbox followed, in 1996, by the GTA with its automatic gearbox. The price for the new Ferrari stood at a hefty 300’000 Swiss francs but for that the buyer received a fantastic 5.5 litre V12 delivering 442 horsepower combined with a most luxurious interior. Until 1997 only 1’332 examples with left hand drive and a manual gearbox were sold. The example offered is a Swiss delivery and was handed over to its first owner on the 28th March 1994 through Sportgarage Graber AG in Wichtrach. After a change of ownership in 2003, the 456 was acquired by the current owner for his wife from the (then most probably) second owner. Well maintained - the most recent service including a change of the cambelt was performed in 2016 at 54’378 kilometres - the car provided lots of carefree miles to the happy owners. In October 2024 the oil- and water radiator were overhauled, the heater valve replaced and the air conditioning recharged. When now 62’400 kilometres, a service booklet, a complete document folder and equipped with the desirable manual 6 speed gearbox with its open shift gate, this Ferrari is in very good and carefully maintained condition and thanks to a Veteran MOT from November 2024 can be registered immediately.
