Our car is a very desirable Swiss delivered example which is presented in solid condition and finished today in its original and very elegant colour combination of Grigio Le Sancy It. 4400 paint on the exterior over a Pelle Nera VM 8500 interior.
The car has been completed by the factory in March 1969 and was delivered new with SAVAF order number #1037 to Geneva, where back in the days the official Ferrari Swiss importer SAVAF (Société Anonyme pour la Vente des Automobiles Ferrari) was domiciled. A couple of years later in 1972 the car has been owned by Karl Mösch, another Swiss resident who was based in the Zurich region. Approximately in 1980 the car has been sold to its next custodian Paul Hasler who was domiciled in St. Gallen, Switzerland. During his ownership the car was registered on Swiss license plates “SG-2940” which were later changed to “SG-1905”. Hasler kept the car for more than 30 years after selling it to the consigning owner in September 2012. During Hasler’s ownership the car was used regularly which is documented by several public appearances. Paul Hasler took the car to several meetings of the “Bugatti-Ferrari Owners Club Switzerland” in 1982, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1991 and 1994. Due to the progressing age of Paul Hasler the car was sold by his son Sandro Hasler to the current owner. The sale was facilitated by Patrick Stieger and Patrick Hagmann of Scuderia67 GmbH.
After the purchase of the car the new owner decided to take it to the Classiche Officina at Niki Hasler AG in Basel where the official Ferrari Classiche certification was executed. The official certification was subsequently issued by the factory in February 2013.
During the ownership of its current custodian the car has been regularly used as well, which is evident through the participation in several events and therefore it has also been maintained on a regular basis by the workshops of Niki Hasler AG, Engelbert E. Stieger AG as well as scuderia67 GmbH who are all well known for their expertise in classic Ferrari models. Over the years more than 35,000 Swiss francs were spent by the current owner on servicing the car.
Today the car presents itself as a driver’s car in solid running condition. There are a few cosmetically and mechanically aspects of the car which need some further attention. The 365 GTC is currently Swiss registered with Swiss tax status. This specific car offers the rare opportunity for those who are not looking for an over-restored car which is in ‘like new’ condition but much rather would prefer a car which can be used regularly without worrying about putting mileage on the car. It is ready to be enjoyed by its next caretaker.
