EXTERIOR
The rich, deep, Rosso Corsa paintwork covers the Pininfarina lines with elegant and a classic style. The more rounded lines of the Modena over it’s predecessor and indeed successor are ageing with grace and an iconic look for its period. The paintwork presents superbly for its age and mileage with only a few commiserate marks that distinguish it from new.

INTERIOR
The classic red exterior is complimented by it’s desirable crema counterpart, the go to Ferrari combination that will remain as the most recognisable colourway for the brand. The seats retain excellent structure and rigidity, without any excessive marks or sagging to the leather, these boldly display the Prancing Horse in the headrests.

Aluminium trim is abundant on door cards, dash and centre console which also houses the gated manual stick, a shrine to many as it ages and an absolute joy to use when driving. Switch gear prone to become sticky and mark presents well with no problems.

Accompanied with the car are a set of extra carpets which have been sat on top of the originals for the last 10 years, keeping them like new and with very little wear to be seen.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine fitted to the 360 was an evolution of that designed for the F355 but with a small increase in cubic capacity to 3.6 litres, hence the 360 model designation. The block, cylinder heads, sump, and castings were constructed from light alloy, featuring Nikasil treated alloy cylinder liners and titanium alloy con rods. The 360 was also the first Ferrari with a clear glass engine cover, prompting stylist Pininfarina to respond to requests from prospects at motor shows with “Why must we keep the masterpiece in the car?’”.

Having just been serviced, this example fires immediately into life, with a roll of ignition throttle, and settles purposefully to that familiar V8 buzz.

The gearbox is a real pleasure to use, and that wonderfully exposed gate provides a tactility and engagement that an F1 variant can never quite achieve.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Faultless factory 18 inch starfish alloys in Anthracite metallic all round. The brake calipers are easily visible through the minimal alloy design and finished in Rosso, with no chips or flaking to the paint. The discs and pads in excellent order with no lipping or pad material build up in the cross-drill sections.

Supplied new to the UK from Maranello Egham Ferrari on 27/03/2002 this classic and beautifully presented 360 has a full service history with a split of services done from main dealer and specialists.
